 I live in Querrin near Kilkee, Co. Clare and have fished the West Clare area since childhood.

I have extensive knowledge of the local shore, rock, pier and estuary marks.

I am the holder of over 50 Irish Specimen Fish Awards.

In 2007 was the captor of 3 Specimen Ballan Wrasse all caught in West Clare including the heaviest Specimen Ballan Wrasse caught in Ireland of 5 lbs. 9 ozs.

Many of these fish were caught locally including Trigger Fish and a record Painted Ray of 14 Lbs.

I have featured in several articles in Sea Angler magazine and was Angling Guide/Advisor to Henry Gilbey for Discovery Channel's filming of "Wild Fishing" in West Clare.

I have been giving guided fishing and angling tours to the West Clare area for many years.
